Spring Days
The weather has been fabulous, so my blog has been neglected. We’ve had sunny days, warm rainy days, and even a nice small thunderstorm (hoping for some bigger ones this season!)
Of course, this means that I need to be more disciplined than ever to work on the stuff I want to get done, including reading, blogging, exercising, and most importantly, working on publishing company stuff.
The upside is that just being outside has been giving me inspiration. Lots of story ideas, productivity ideas, and inspiration for things I want to do (like that list needs to grow.
How is everyone else’s spring going? Are you having trouble staying productive to?

[ Smiles ] It is nice to know that you have been enjoying fabulous weather.
For the record, I have no problems whatsoever with staying productive.
haha, that’s good Renard, because being productive can really put a cramp on other factors of life. 😀
We’re getting a lovely Spring rain shower right at this moment! I love the sound of rain. And, yes, it’s tanking my productivity, but it’s worth it.

I completely agree, all work and no play, and all that. If I just ignored the beautiful weather, I wouldn’t be any more productive, because i’d just be sulking about not being outside instead of getting work done. Finding the balance is hard, but it’s definitely a balance between getting out and enjoying the world, and then putting the inspiration it provides to good use.
Exactly, and well put! Here’s to enjoying being alive, and channeling that joy into our art.
My motivation for working goes out the window when the sun is calling my name to come outside and play. We had such a long, hard winter that I’m enjoying every second of the gorgeous weather we are having this weekend
