Maughwauwama
Maybe
Just maybe,
you’re hearing me,
seeing things,
perceiving,
incorrectly.
Have you ever
stopped
to think?
But no,
perception is reality,
so we must be in Wyoming.

I have to ask – the title?
Maughwauwama is the native american word that “Wyoming” was based on. Apparently it means “big prairie land” or something like that. But when my college roommate and I heard that, we just pictured a settler and native american talking: “what did you say this here place was called?” “Maughwauwama” “ah, Wyoming! Got it!”
